Like so many other states in the US Wyoming simply does not have enough nurses. Their problems are in some ways similar to those of other states – not enough nurses educators to staff nursing programs in Wyoming, an aging population and an aging RN population too – but they also lose a lot of the graduates from nursing programs in Wyoming to other states, adding to the problem even further.
